The certificate for Edward Ambry of March, Isle of Ely, 5 April 1664

William Pildrim of Wimblinton within the p[a]rish of Doddingeton in the Isle of Ely doth by These: presents Certifye unto whom this Writing shall con[cern]: That Edward Ambry of March within the p[a]rish and Isle aforesaid hath served under the Command of Collo[ne]ll Saul for the Kings Ma[jes]tie for the Reliefe of Colchester and hath before and after bin alwayes faythfull and Industrious towardes the Supply and service of his Ma[jes]tie to ye best of his Knowledge. In wittnes whereof here doth Subscribe his hand the fifth day of April 1644.

Memorandatt That the aforesaid William Pildrim did serve in the Regiment of S[i]r Marmaduke Roydon and was Leuetenant to Capt[ai]n Robert Emery.
