These are humbly to certifie yo[u]r sacred Ma[jes]tie That the petic[i]oner Christopher Denny was a souldier In Prince Maurice’s Regim[en]t of Horse during all the late vnhappy Warres and behaved himselfe stoutly and faithfully in all Ingagem[en]ts, and received divers wounds and suffered much Imprisonm[en]t and damage for his loyalty to yo[u]r Ma[jes]t[y’]s late Royall Father and yo[u]rselfe Thus much wee testify being
