These are to certifie all whome it may Concerne that Henry Bradley late of Chippin in the Countie of Lanc[aste]r was A souldier for the late kinge Charles of Euer blessed memorie &  Att seuerall fights and Battles vnder the Command of Colenell Tyldsley where att the Greate Battle att Yorke hee lost his life & Ann Bradley whoe is now widdowe to the s[ai]d Henery is now very poore & Growes ould & haueinge had but 10 s. p[er] Annu[m] [illegible] from the treasurer of the maimed souldiers, in Consideration of the Greate losse of her husband wee whose names is here vnder written doe humblie desire yow the right wor[ship]ffull his ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace for the Countie palatine of Lanc[aste]r to Grant to this poore widdowe an order for the Inlarg[e]m[en]t of her yearly penc[i]on what yow may thinke Fitt
