There being noe money in the Trea[sure]rs hands wee can-not allow the petition[e]r Alex[ander] Babbage a present Pention, but in when any Pentioner shall dye, wee th within the Division of Salisbury, wherein the Petitioner liueth, wee thinke him (being satisfyed with his Certifficate) deserving a pention of thirty shilings per an[num]. Giuen vnder o[u]r hands this 6th day of Aprill 1676 & in the 28th yeare of his Majestyes Reigne.
