To the Kings most Ex[cellen]t Majestie.

The humble petic[i]on of Captaine Mathew Peniall

Sheweth

That whereas yo[u]r Pet[itione]r hath for many yeares last past had the tuition of William Jackson aged about 12 yeares, whose father was slayne in yo[u]r Ma[jes]ties service, he being forward in Learning and fitt to be admitted into Eaton Colledge.

Yo[u]r pet[itione]rs humble request is That yo[u]r Ma[jes]tie would by yo[u]r Letters Mandat Com[m]and that the said William Jackson may be admitted a Scholler in to Eaton Colledge

And yo[u]r Pet[itione]r shall ever pray.
