For ye Right wor[shi]ppfull iustices of ye peace sittling att Horncastle att ye Generall Quarter Sessions. Yo[u]r distressed petition[e]r[s] humbly

Sheweth

That wherase Robert Robison of ou[e]r Town of Howlton cum Berkerin did Chearfully serue in ye p[ar]lements army vnder ye command of Captaine Grantham in ye seiges against newark and diu[e]rs other places for ye time of three year. he being sound in all p[ar]tes of his body befor did in ye seruice receiue such hurtes & lamness as makes him a Cripple without hope of recou[e]ry as long as hee liueth all meanes failleing for his Cure, and hee ou[e]r mastered with wants doth humbly make his addresse to y[ou]r good wor[shi]pps to bee pleased to apoynte him as other in ye like Condition haue founde this p[ar]tye is well affected & Ciuill.  & this petition iuste & so wee Humble rest
