Theise are to begg y[ou]r fauour on behalfe of the bearer Raph Aynscoe of Aspull a poore maymed Souldier, who is now but one of the [illegible] six (of eighteene that receaued pay in the same towne) that are now liueing, and that hath but 16 s. 8 d. a year, my request is thearfore that hee may bee Augmented to 25 s. p[er] ann[um] as others had in the same Towne, less deseruing then hee, & in doeing this you will obleige
