To the Right Wo[rshipfu]ll the Justic[e]s of peace & Quor[um] at the Sessions of peace houlden at Lancaster the 4th 8ber 1653
The humble petic[i]on of the inhabitants of Quernmore
Sheweth
That yo[u]r petic[i]oneris wear by order of this Court appointed to give some compotent mentenance vnto [blank] Kew for her selfe & three children in respect her husband was pressed for a souldier for Ireland for ye said Towneshipp w[hi]ch they have since p[er]formed
But her children beinge now growen vpp & able to bee apprentices & shee her selfe able to worke for her liveinge Maye it please yo[u]r wo[rshi]pps to dischardge yo[u]r petic[i]oners from anie further mentenance of the said [blank] Kew & her children And yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]rs shall ever praye
The Inhabitants to p[ro]vide for the woman & youngest child
