Petic[i]on of Philip Ellen Hey widow

Most humblie sheweth vnto yo[u]r wor[shi]ps yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner Ellen Hey late wife of Philip Hey, dece[ase]d who was alwayes a true and faithfull servant to the States of this Land and in the late warres in their service lost his life and left yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner w[i]th two small children and not anything att all wherew[i]th to releive them, as by the testimony of yo[u]r her neighbo[ur]s whos are names are here subscribed, therefor humbly desire yo[u]r wor[shi]ps favourable considerac[i]on vpon yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner to be pleased to graunt vnto her that small sume of money w[hi]ch yo[u]r wor[shi]ps haue beene pleased formerly to allow her and yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner (as ever bound) shall pray vnto god for yo[u]r health and p[ro]sperity long to continue
