Humble Petition of Edward Carr of Hoole,

To the Worshippfull Justices of Peace at this present Sessions.

Whereas the sayd Edward Carr did serue & suffer in his late Majesties Warr (King Charles ye First) and now is come to poverty by the great Charge of a very poore Family. He therefore humbly beggs Yo[u]r Worshipps assistance for some present vacant place of reliefe amongst the maimed souldiers & will Therefore (as in duty bound) ever pray &c
