The humble peticion of William Yates of nether knotsford sheweth

That your peticioner did Faithfully searue the late kings magisty duringe the late wares as a priuate soulder and was so wovnded and impovereshed thereby as that hee is now destetute of any substance or livelyhood as by the anixed Certificat may apeeare

May it therefore please your honers to order your petecioner such an anvall pention as you in your wisdomes shall thinke Fit
