The humble petic[i]on of William Wright of Ashiton Vnd[e]r Kyne a poore maimed Sould[ie]r

Sheweth

That Whereas yo[u]r Petic[i]oner hath by ord[e]r of this Cort reteined the yearly sume of Forty shillings as a poore maimed souldier within the hundred of Salford.

Therefore yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r in respect of his pou[er]ty & want doth humbly pray yo[u]r Worr[shi]pps will bee pleased in ord[e]r yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r to receive the yearly sume of twenty shillings more to bee added to the s[ai]d form[e]r ord[e]r & yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r shall eu[er] pray for yo[u]r Worr[shi]pps &c.
