To ye worshipfull Bench his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace at the Gen[er]all Sessions held at the Castle of Exon for the County of Deuon
The humble petition of William Tucker of Zeale monochorum
<Humbly Sheweth>
That yo[u]r poore petitioner by reason of some woundes Imprisonm[en]t & other hardships, he sustained in the seruice of his late Ma[jes]tie Charles the first of blessed memory, vnder the comand of seu[er]all his Commissioned officers, in seu[er]all seiges and other skirmishes in the late deplored warrs; is thereby somewhat disenabled to gett his Liuelihood, hee therefore humbly prayeth that in tender considerac[i]on of the premisses yo[u]r wor[shi]pps would be pleased to Order to yo[u]r poore petitioner some stipend of the Pension mony in this case prouided
And yo[u]r poore petition[e]r as in duty bound shall Euer pray
