William Stedman de Chippenham in the County of Wilts[hire] Gent[leman] haveinge for severall yeares served his late Ma[jes]tie Kinge Charles the first & the Kinge in the Late Warrs & haveinge spent & lost an Estate of neere Twoe Thowsand Pounds in the same hath only a Pension of Forty shillings p[er] Ann[um] Allowed him & beinge very Indigent by reasons of his service & Losses afores[ai]d Desires a further Allowance Accordinge to the discrec[i]on of this hon[oura]ble Bench.
