The petition of William Rendall, Wiltshire, 8 October 1667

Honoured Sir

Your Poore Petitioner Will[iam] Rendall Haueing lost his orders at vize sessions for the reseauing of twenty shill[ings] the yeare doe Humbly intreate your worship to moue it this sessions on his behalfe for the granting and renewing of the same order, he makes bold to supplicate to your worship knowing that it lyes in your power to help and assist him in this affair

And he shall Pray

You will find the name of W[illia]m Rendell amongst the Pentioners, who hauing lost his order at Easter sessions at ye Devizes, is refused his pention by the Tre[asur]er wherfore hee desires you will bee pleased to grant him a new order His pention was twenty shill[ings] per an[num] I thinke
