To the Right Worshipfull Justices of the Peace For the West Riding of the County of Yorke

The humble petition of William Pullen of Farneley

Humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r poore petitioner was a soldier vnder the Com[m]and of the Right Worshipfull S[i]r Richard Tankerd Laite deceased For his Ma[jes]tie Charles the First of Blessed Memorie and Neuer Reuolted but allwayes was a Faithfull and true souldier & a great sufferer thereby and now Falne into great & extreame waint & pouertie, & Neuer Receiued any sallere or place for any part of Livelehud for him his wife and fower Children Wherefore yo[u]r poore petitioner humbly desires that this Right Worshipfull bench will be pleased to grant me to be a pentioner in the place of Michall Jackson whoe is deceased and was a pentioner and yo[u]r poore petitioner shall ever be bound to pray.

I doe certifie ye truth of this Certificate {and} doe humbly com[m]end ye petitioner to be A pention[e]r {in} ye stead of Michaell Jackson lately decease[e]d
