To the Wor[shi]p[fu]ll the Kings Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of the peace att this present General Sessions

The humble petic[i]on of William Parry of Aberchwiler in the s[ai]d Countie of Denbigh weaver

Sheweing Yo[u]r wor[shi]ps that your pet[itione]r in the late tymes of distracc[i]ons in England hath served his Ma[jes]t[y]s our late Sou[er]aigne in Armes a souldier vnder the Com[m]and of S[i]r Thomas Salusbury k[nigh]t Bar[one]t vnder whome yo[u]r pet[itione]r served vntill that vnhappie daye it pleased god to take him to his mercie and then afterwards yo[u]r pet[itione]r was with others of his Company to adventure in the same service vnder one Collonel Lloyd haveinge the Comaund of all the Regim[en]t formerliey vnder S[i]r Thomas Salesbury dureinge all this tyme yo[u]r pet[itione]r about the space of three yeares service in England beinge vnder seu[er]all Captaines in the same Regim[en]t at least vnder the Comande of Sixe Captaines, yo[u]r pet[itione]r hath suffered often ymprisonm[en]ts longe dureance yet by the meanes of his officers releeved by way of exchange man for man alsoe hath receaved manie woundes in his bodye w[hi]ch hath disabled yo[u]r pet[itione]r to earne his liveinge beinge of the trade of a weaver beinge soe disabled & by reason of his sicknesse & disabilitie & others afore he petic[i]oned ellected to receave the sallarie allotted by his Ma[jes]t[y]s to maymed souldiers souldiers caused him yo[u]r pet[itione]r to forbeare to trouble yo[u]r wor[shi]ps with often petic[i]ons but vnderstandinge three or foure vacant places that died latelie whoe formerlie rec[eiv]ed sallarie doe

In most humble maner begge yo[u]r wor[shi]ps favour and admittance to be allowed to receave a penc[i]on allotted to one as I am my case considered am a fitt obiect of Charietie to be looked vpon & fitt to receave his ma[jes]t[y]s Alloweance as other souldiers are allowed to receave, otherwise I must turne myself to the wide world to receave the Charitie of wel disposed people All this I humblie pray for gods sake
