To the Right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the peace of the County of Carnarvon assembled att the generall sessions of the peace houlden for the sayd County the eight day of January Instant 1660.

The humble peticon of William Moris of Llanarmon in the County aforesayd &c.

Sheweth

That your peticoner as a souldier served our late souraigne Charles the first kinge of England, Scotland Fraunce and Ireland (of blessed memorye) vnder the Comaunde of Sir John Owen and Lieuetennt Hugh Hookes and Captayne for the space of two yeares and more, duringe all such tyme your peticoner did honestly and faythfully stand to the sayd service till that hee was shott in his right hand, whereby hee became maymed and not able to earne for his livinge.

Therefore your petitioner humblye prayeth your worshipps to take the premisses into your serious Consideracon and to admitte him as one of the maymed souldiers of this Countye of Carnarvon alloweinge him such stipend yearly as shall seeme meete to your worshipps. And your petitioner shall euer pray &c.
