The humble petic[i]on of Will[ia]m Laborer of Barnicker
Shewethe
That whereas yo[u]r pore petic[i]o[ne]r beinge a verie pore man and hath a greate Charge of Children hee beinge a Souldier formerly to the States of Englande is now in wante in regarde of his greate Charge and he him selfe of noe trade desires this wor[shi]pp[ful] Courte for to comiserate this his sad condic[i]on
May it theirfore please yo[u]r ho wor[shi]pps for to take the pr[e]mises into yo[u]r graue considerac[i]on and to grant yo[u]r pore pet[i]c[ione]r yo[u]r wor[shi]pps order for releife herin and he as in duty bound will euer pray
