The humble petition of William Davenport inhabitant of the town and p[ar]ish of Leeke to the hono[u]able bench at the sessions holden at Stafford this day.

Humblie sheweth your humble petitioner William Davenport beeing a poore maimed souldire vnder captaine John Watson at Heywood in the late warres and not haueing receiued yt allowance and pay for one half yeare w[hi]c[h] formerlie was allowed vnto him is vtterlie vnable to subsist, but is like to fall into extreame wants & miseries.

Humblie desireth yt yt allowance and pay w[hi]c[h] is behind maie bee restored vnto him, and his p[ensio]ne continued as formerlie & hee will euer praie
