The humble petic[i]on of those widowes and fatherlesse Children w[hi]ch had their husbands killed in the States seruice and the Maymed Souldiors
Sheweth
That yo[u]r pore petic[i]o[ner]s hath received an Order from yo[u]r hono[u]r for the receivinge of fowre Months pay w[h]ich paye yo[u]r petic[i]o[ner]s hath received accordingly yo[u]r petic[i]o[ner]s beinge in wante hath demanded some more moneyes of Christofer Prockter beinge treasurer for the same but hee denieth that hee hath anie in his hand
Maye it their fo[r]e please yo[u]r hono[ur]s for to take the p[re]mises into yo[u]r graue considerac[i]on and to call the said Prockter before you for to giue an acompt what moneyes is remayninge in his hands and not disbursed wherby yo[u]r petic[i]o[ner]s may haue releife and yo[u]r petic[i]o[ner]s as in dutye bound will euer pray.
