To the honerablle Commite of parllement for Safftie of this Countie and Citie of coventry

The Humblle Peticene of wee poere destresed widdowse: whoe have lost o[u]r husbands in the Servese of the parllement; and are now left with a great charg of small children evry one of vse ever since the died, but it hath pleased you For to Alow vse half a Croune a week a pece which we give you thanks For: but now we are discharged From having any moer which with out it wee and o[u]r poer children are lost: hit is o[u]r humblle Request to you the honerablle Commite that you would be pleased to take some Course that we & o[u]r poere Children may have Some Compadant mennes to Releiffe vse & we & o[u]r poere Children wil be in all duty bound to pray For you & yourse forevere
