The humble petic[i]nor of Thomas Yeates Aged foure score & vpwards
Sheweth
That yo[u]r petic[i]nor by reason of his great age is alltogeather disenabled to take paynes to gett a liuelyhood, but is like to Starue and famish vnlesse this hono[u]rable Bench take pittie of his sad and deplorable Condicion, And further yo[u]r petic[i]nor was formerly Admitted a pencinor which was a great succor and releife vnto yo[u]r petic[i]nor but now it is detayned from yo[u]r petic[i]nor vpon what cause yo[u]r poore petic[i]nor can not tell but certaine it is the pencinors are payed in Lankishire.
The premisses tenderly and Compassionatly considered yo[u]r poore petic[i]nor humbly becheth yo[u]r good worshipp to admitt him a pencioner or other wayes order yo[u]r petic[i]nor a weekly or monthly Allowance what yo[u]r good worshipps shall thincke most meete And yo[u]r poore petic[i]no[r] shall as in dewtie bound euer pray &c.
