The Humble petec[i]on of Thomas Willcokson of Over in the County of Chester

Most humbly sheweth to ye worships

That where as y[ou]r worsh[ips] poore petec[i]on[e]r formerly was a sould[i]er for many yeares vnder the Comand of the Lord Chollmondeley and haueing lost his estate in yt good saruice & y[ou]r poore petec[i]o[ne]r being ould & fallen into greate pouerty most humbly Craueth y[ou]r worships Assistance to bee a pentioner in his ma[jes]ties alowance according to his ma[jes]ties gratious Act & hee will ever pray
