To the r[i]g[h]t wo[rshi]ppfull the Justices of the peace Bench at the Quarter Sessions for this Countie held at Taunton 4th July 1656

The Petition of Thomas Tucker of Tintenhull in the Countie aforesaid – humbly sheweth

That whereas yo[u]r Petitioner about 5 yeares since was imprest for a souldier for the seruice of Ireland & haue ever since there serued till his returne of late and by reason of the extremity w[hi]ch he did there vndergoe is fallen lame and maimed in his limbes to his great punishment lost & hindrance.

His humble request therefore is that yo[u]r wo[rshi]pps would consider & appoynt a way for his pr[e]sent & future healpe and he shall ever pray for yo[u]r wo[rshi]pps happinesse &c.
