To ye Right w[orshi]p[fu]l ye Kings Ma[jes]ties Justices of ye Peace att this Sessions Assembled.
The humble Petic[i]on of Thomas Hodgkis of Burwardsly Com[itatus] Cestr[iae]
<Sheweth>
That your Pet[itione]r now aged, yet euer a true and loyall Subiect to his Sou[er]aigne L[or]d ye king, without any change or turneing, was all along in actuall seruice for his s[ai]d Sou[er]aigne, and not onely lost the vse of his limbes, but his estate in yt seruice not onely to the ruine of himself but his posterity, haueing had as yet noe reliefe att all ether from his said seruice or his sufferinges. And since there is an act passed for ye reliefe of such suffering Subiects as can produce testimoniall of there euer constant fidelity and acted seruice for their Soueraigne
His humble suite is, that such an annual pension as such priuate sold[ie]rs are capable of, may bee now ordered for yo[u]r Pet[itione]r to receiue as fully as ye act can or doth permitt, and yo[u]r Pet[itione]r as for eu[er] bound shall for eu[er] pray &c
