The Humble Petition of Thomas Futerill of Dorchester in the said County

Sheweth That he is aged above seaventy years and hath been a souldier for King Charles the first and King Charles the second of Blessed Memories and rece[ive]d sev[er]all wounds in King Charles the first service by reason whereof and of his great age he is very infirme & weake and poor

The Humble desire of your Petitioner is that you would be please to comisserate his sad condic[i]on and to grant him an order that he may have a weekly allowance for his releife and your Petitioner as in Duty bound shall ever pray.
