The petition of Thomas Buxton of Swaffham, Norfolk, 24 July 1649

To the right worshipfull the Justices of the peace at this pr[e]sent sessions
The humble petic[i]on of Thomas Buxton of Swaffham
W[i]th all humilitie
he sheweth that by the appoyntment of this Sessions he vndertoke the Cuer of one Henry Watson and was p[ro]mised payement for the same being A wounded and maymed souldier, that by gods blessing he hath p[er]formed the Cuer, that what for meate and drinke and his paynes lying vnder his handes about halfe A yeare for the Cuer and his diett he Craveth the allowance of 10 li. The Considerac[i]on whereof he humbly tenderith to this ho[noura]ble bench
