The petition of Thomas Boiles of Bridgemere, Cheshire, Trinity 1653

The humble petic[i]on of Thomas Boiles of Bridgmere
<Sheweth>
That whereas yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r long since was admitted a penc[i]oner & vppon the last Review was Conceiued a fitt object to bee contynued, haveing been searched before Thomas Manwareing Esq[uire] one of the Justices of the Bench
Now soe it is that dureing the life of ould tresurer Mr Hilton, yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r was truly payd & satisfyed but since his decease, the Treasurer that now is doth refuse to pay the same, although his name bee enrolled in the said Treasurers booke.
May it therefore please this hon[oura]ble bench to take yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]rs wants into yo[u]r serious considerac[i]on & to gr[an]t yo[u]r order directed to the s[ai]d now treasurer thereby desireing that the same may bee paid ouer w[i]th w[ha]t convenient speed may bee
