To the Right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace of the County of Wilts[hire], sitting at the Seuerall q[uarte]r Sessions of the Peace at ye City of Newe Sarum.

The humble Petic[i]on of Thomas Bicknell of Fisherton Anger in the County afores[ai]d Glover

Humbly sheweth.

That whereas yo[u]r pet[itione]r having bin an Inhabitant w[i]thin the p[ari]sh of Fisherton Anger afores[ai]d (being forced from his owne Countrey for his Loyalty & Service to his late Ma[jes]ty of blessed memory) by the space of eighteene yeares, or thereabouts, and having for the supportac[i]on of himselfe & family rented a howse w[i]thin the same p[ar]ish during all that time to his greate chardge & almost ruine, having noe other subsistance but his trade, nor never any Considerac[i]on for his service & loyalty since the kings Ma[jes]tyes happy restorac[i]on

Yo[u]r pet[itione]r (being nowe destitute of a Convenient howse to drive his trade in) humbly desires yo[u]r wor[shi]p would be pleased to giue yo[u]r Consent for an order of this pr[e]sent Sessions to impowre yo[u]r poore pet[itione]r to build a little Cottage or a place Called Fisherton bridge w[i]thin the s[ai]d p[ar]ish yo[u]r pet[itione]r having the Consent of all the Inhabitants of the p[ar]ish afores[ai]d to the same purpose.
