To the right wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of ye peace for the County of Wiltes[hire]

The humble petic[i]on of Samuel Holton of Warminster in this County Feltmaker

<Humbly sheweth>

That whereas yo[u]r pet[itione]r hath faithfully served his Ma[jes]tie that now is & his royall father for diu[er]s yeares both in England & Ireland w[i]thout any declininge from the said service or adhearinge to the contrary p[ar]ty & was five yeares vnder the Com[m]aund of S[i]r John Pawlett kn[igh]t Collonell of the eldest Regiment of the yallowe coates in Ireland & was maymed in his right arme w[i]th a Muskett shott receaved in that service & is now alsoe in actuall service for his Ma[jes]ty vnder the Comaund of of Captaine John Danvers

In tender considerac[i]on whereof May it please yo[u]r worshipps to make such Order of Sessions for a p[ro]vision or other releife for yo[u]r Pet[itione]r as to yo[u]r worshipps shall seeme meete & convenient

And yo[u]r Pet[itione]r (as in duty bound) shall for eu[er] pray for yo[u]r worshipps hapinesse & p[ro]sperity
