To the Right hono[ura]ble the Comittee of accounts at worster house

The humble petic[i]o[n] of Samuel Daye

Humblye Sheweth

That yo[u]r peticon[e]r for the space of foure yeeres hath faithfully and truely serued this com[m]onweath and hath receaued seu[er]all wondes in the said seruice and with all hath lost the vse of one of his fingers and in regard thereof hee is disabled from Followeinge his callinge, therefore yo[u]r humble peticon[e]r desireth this hono[ura]ble Comittee that they would bee pleased to Conferr one him the place of a messenger hee giuinge good security to discharg that place which yo[u]r honn[ou]rs shal bee pleased to conferr one him

And yo[u]r peticon[e]r as bound in duty shall Euer pray &c.
