The humble petition of Roger Royland of Neither Tabley being putte on as a Souldier for ye Millitia he being a poore racker vnder ye valuation of tenn pounds (p[er] ann[um]) went in ye late servise to Worcester and ventured his Life to ye vtmost of his power & since hath endured great sickness to his impoverishment my humble petition is yt you would be pleased to grant an order yt I may receave from ye sayd towne of Neither Tably ye advance moneyes w[hi]ch other townes vsuall [sic] gave such poore Souldiers I humbly begg yo[u]r worships ayd to order as in yo[u]r wisdomes it shall seeme meet and yo[u]r petition[e]r will ever pray for yo[u]rs &c
