To the Right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace at the Sessions houlden at Namptwich the 9th of Julie 1650.
The humble petic[i]on of Roberte Wylde of Maxfeild
Sheweth
That wheras your s[ai]d petic[i]oner being a priuate Souldier vnder the Com[m]and of Colonell Duckenfeild in regard I haue beene maymed in the parliament seruice and altogether disabled to worke for my liueing It was therefore ordered at the Quarter Sessions houlden in this Towne the 10th of Julie 1649 by the wor[shipfu]ll Bench That I should receaue 3 li. p[er] ann[um] for and towards his my mainteynance & liuelihood.
May yt please your worshipps then that your poore petic[i]on[er] may haue an order to the tresurer of Maxfeild hundred whosoeu[er] hee shall bee for this yeare to receaue his said pay according as it was formerly granted & his s[ai]d Colonell wil be much engaged to your wor[shi]pp and your s[ai]d petic[i]on[er] shal be euer bound to pray &c
