To ye Hon[oura]ble Bench att ye Sessions holden att Wetherby January ye 16th 1677.

The Humble petition of Robert Wright of Wetherby, lab[oure]r.

<Sheweth>

That yo[u]r Petition[e]r was a Soldier under ye Com[m]and of Capt[ain] Croft & in ye L[or]d Langdales Regim[en]t where he serv[e]d ye king as a faithfull subject & soldier for sev[e]rall years & never deserted his Ma[jes]ties service, That he was att several Battells & received many Great wounds as will yet Appear, And yo[u]r Petition[e]r now being Lame & Impotent Humbly Beggs of this Bench that he may Receive ye penc[i]on of one Thomas Hardacres who is lately dead & yo[u]r pet[itione]r shall as in Duty bound ever pray for yo[u]r Hon[ou]rs Health & hap[p]inesse

I know this Petitioner did serve his late Majestie of blessed memory and some time vnder my brothers Command
