{T}he humble petition of Robert {illegible} {of} Llanvihangell in the County of {Carnarvon}
{Shewe}th
That he for a Longe time se{rved} {the} Parliament both in the warre {in} England and Ireland: & was sor{e} wounded in Stoe of the Old: {illegible} liey was taken prissoner: y{illegible} then vnder the Com[m]and {illegible} howse: where he rec{eived} {illegible} thighe: & anoth{er} {at} the takeing of Wor{illegible} {illegible} that yo[u]r petitioner {illegible} {illegible}te of Ireland: & {illegible} seege of Dubline {illegible} whereby he wa{s} {illegible} & hath lost the vse {illegible} soe that he is not {illegible} or {illegible} owne m{illegible}
Wherefore y{our petitioner} {illegible} your worships to be {illegible} him a pension {illegible} out of the maime{d} {soldiers’ mize}.
And yo[u]r petition{er} {will ever} pray for yo[u]r wo{rships} {health} and happines.
