To his Ma[jes]ties Hon[oura]ble Justices of the Peace within the said County.

The humble petition of Robert Tuckett of the parish of Broadclist in the said County of Devon.

<Humbly Sheweth>

That whereas yo[u]r poore petic[i]oner being a drum major under the Commaund of Sir John Acland Barronett and served in his late Ma[jes]ties service King Charles the first of ever blessed memory dureinge the whole tyme of the said warr, and therein Received sev[er]all wounds by Reason whereof the said Robert Tuckett yo[u]r poore peticoner is disabled to get his Livelyhood: And doth therefore desire that he may have some Reliefe out of his Ma[jes]ties Hospitall:

And yo[u]r poore Petic[i]oner as in duty bound shall ever pray &c.
