To the Right wor[shi]pfull his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the Peace att the generall quarter Sessions held att Thirske for the North Rideing

The Petition of Robert Render of Raskelfe w[i]thin the said Rideing most humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r Petitioner is a poor indigent man and hath always been a true & faithfull souldier in the service of King Charles the fi[r]st of ever blessed memory and likewise in the service of our late gracious Kinge Charles, the second, in the Garrison of Hull, und[e]r the com[m]and of the Right hono[u]rable the Lord Bellasyse. And whereas severall persons of Raskelfe aforesaid whoe had Pentions of 20 s. p[er] ann[um] as maimed souldiers are dead, yo[u]r Petetion[e]r most humbly prayes yo[u]r worships will be gratiously pleasd to afford to him one of the said Pentions, and he will haue greate cause to pray &c.
