The humble petic[i]on of Robert Price of Wrexham
Sheweth
That yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r hath served as souldier in the dayes of Queene Elizabeth in Ireland for the space of two full years and afterwards served his late Majesty in England vnder the Commaund of S[i]r Ralph Hopton and whoe being routed, yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r was very dangerously wounded by reason whereof (as also his great age) hee is altogeather vnable to acquire a liuelyhood, but is constraind to liue vpon the benevolence of good people
In tender considerac[i]on of the pr[e]mises, and of the opertunity god hath putt into yo[u]r hands to relieue the distressed, as also of ye great age and imbesility of yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r who in evitably is licke to perish vnles by yo[u]r goodnes adm[m]itted to receaue a Quarterly penc[i]on which yo[u]r pet[itione]r humbly requests,
And yo[u]r pet[itione]r as in duty bound shall ever pray &c.
