{Illegible} resone of gods vesetation of sicknes (illegible} {illegible}sey of you which I would now haue done {illegible} if nececitey did not vrge me, for I am in A lodginge {illegible} haue no landlord nor any other p[er]son in the howse so that I haue not so much as A Candell to light mee to bed nethor is there any Seruant to doe any thing for me without Readie money and Credit is verie Could in Gloucester and besides I haue Souldiers vnbilletted that wanteth meate and I Can att this time nethor helpe my selfe nor Releue them therefore my hulmble Request is that you would disburst the sume of fiue pownds for to Releue mee in this my wants vntill sutch time that our mony Coms thus beeinge loath to bee tedious to you hoping that you will Comeserate my Care praying god to blesse you in all yo[u]r designes with my best Respect in dutie to {y}ou I take my leue & will allwaies Rest
