To the right wor[shipfu]ll the Justices of the Peace for the County of Chester at the Sessions houlden at Namptw[i]ch

The humble Peticion of Robert Farr of the Parrish of Wibunbury in the County afores[ai]d a poore wounded Souldier.

Sheweth that yo[u]r Petic[i]on[e]r hath liued for many yeares last past in the Parrish aforesaid & dureinge all which tyme hath mayntayned him selfe & his Family by his owne labour & paynes, without beinge burthensome to any of the said Parrish; And hath adventured his life severall tymes in the Comon wealths service of England vnder Maior George Malbon in the Regim[en]t of the wor[shipfu]ll Collonell Croxton & hath receaued in the said service many wounds & shotts, soe that yo[u]r Petic[i]oner is not soe able as formerly to mayntayne himselfe & family by reason of the p[re]mises & haueinge noe habitac[i]on but vpon a greater rent then he is able to discharge

Yo[u]r Petic[i]oner therefore humbly prayes the p[re]mises considered; that yo[u]r worships would be pleased to appoynt or order yo[u]r poore Petic[i]oner some convenient place in the said Parish to erect him a Cottage vppon & yo[u]r poore Peti[i]oner as bounden will ever pray &c
