The humble petition of {?Robert} {?Boulter}

{Humbly} sheweth toe your Hono[u]rs that your poore petitioner served for a Corporall Vnder Captaine John Willson vnder the Command of Colonell Webb being dangerously shot at the going on at Shelford House, and have liene at great Charges so long as my money lasted but now all is gon and I am indeted and know not how to Relive my selfe vnless your honers take pitie of me

Your pore petitioner being not able to relive himselfe doth desire you to help me to a horse and he your petiticoner shall daylie pray for you

<1 Jan[uary] 1645.>

<Mr Hough, pay forty shillings to the Pet[itione]r towards his charges to London, And this shall be yo[u]r war[an]t. Given Vnd[e]r o[u]r hands the first of January 1645>
