The humble Petic[i]on of Richard Tomlinson

<Sheweth:>

That yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r was a Souldier vnd[e]r the Comand of Collonell Marrow in the Service of Charles the first of blessed memory and afterwards was in his Ma[jes]t[y]s service in the kingdome of Ireland and was in the said shot at the Seige at Namptwich and thereby disinabled to worke for a Livelihood to mainteyne himselfe his wife and Five small Children haueing noe Estate to maynteyne them of.

Yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[e]r therefore most humbly prayes that y{ou}r {worshi}pps would bee pleased to [?Comiserate] his Con{dition a}nd to Consid[e]r his Loyall service done and {illegible} els to serve his Ma[jes]ty yt now is and {illegible} a Mainteyn{ance} {illegible}
