To the Right Wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the Peace assembled at ye generall quarter Sessions holden for this County

The humble petic[i]on of Richard Thomas of Fisherton Anger

<Humbly Sheweth>

That yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]r haveing served his late Ma[jes]tie of glorious memory in those vnhappy warres vnder the Com[m]and of ye right Hon[oura]ble ye Earle of Cleeveland in Captain Mershes troope in w[hi]ch service yo[u]r poore petic[i]on[e]r received many dangerous & desparete woundes to the vtter impaire of his health and strength and ruine of himselfe and his poore famyly as by former petic[i]ons with certifycates therto anexed (for ye truth thereof) to yo[u]r wor[shi]ps pr[e]sented may appeare

Humbly therefore implores yo[u]r wor[shi]ps to consider his sad Condic[i]on and to graunt him a p[ar]ticipac[i]on of his Ma[jes]ties royall Favo[u]r to such indigent p[er]sons extended

And yo[u]r wor[shi]ps petic[i]on[er] as in duty bound shall ever pray &c
