The Humble Petic[i]on of Richard Sudell, Will[ia]m Wigans, Rog[e]r Dixson, Jennett Werden widow, Margaret Holmes, Margery And[e]rton & Elizabeth Dry widowes all of Preston

Humbly sheweth

That yo[u]r pet[itione]rs have form[er]ly had ye benifitt of ye Act for maimed souldiers butt vntill of Late yt Mr Will[ia]m Lemon of Preston whoe was appointed Treasurer Left yo[u]r pet[itione]rs out of ye Roll & soe yo[u]r pet[itione]rs cannot now receive theire allowance as form[er]ly.

May it please yo[u]r good wor[shi]pps to take yo[u]r poore pet[itione]rs case into yo[u]r pious Consid[e]rac[i]on & to grant yo[u]r ord[e]r yt yo[u]r  pet[itione]rs may bee entred into ye Roll againe & yt for ye future yo[u]r pet[itione]rs may receive theire former allowances as form[er]ly & yo[u]r pet[itione]r [sic.] as in duty bound shall [illegible] dayly pray for yo[u]r good wor[shi]pps health & happines
