The humble petic[i]on of Richard Pearson of Aughton.

Sheweth

That yo[u]r petic[i]oner is a poore person who hath served his Ma[jes]tie that now is and alsoe his Royall father, and hath had formerly allowed him tenn shillings a yeare, and aboute two yeares agoe the Tre Treasurer for the Maymed Soldiers refused to pay yo[u]r petic[i]oner any, soe that hee hath beene w[i]thout his alloweance ever since, May it therefore please yo[u]r good wor[shi]pps to grant yo[u]r order, that yo[u]r petic[i]oner may have ye former former alloweance of tenn shillings a yeare and yo[u]r petic[i]oner will ever pray.
