To the right wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace at this quart[e]r Sessions at Namptw[i]ch assembled this xith July 1665.
The humble petInformac[i]on and petic[i]on of Richard Lommas George Greaves and William Hassall of Sutton George Greaues and John Redfearne of Macclesfield and James Browne of Macclesfield Forrest all within the hundred of Macclesfield and County of Chester.
<Humblie> sheweth vnto yo[u]r wor[shi]ps; That yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]rs being all Pensio[ne]rs by ord[e]r of Sessions and should haue receiued vii s. iii d. a peece from Mr Daniell of Darsberry the then Tre[asure]r for Christmas quarter last past and because yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]rs refused to abate of their pensions as the oth[e]rs did, therefore his servant refused to pay vs, and such as would abate xviii d. & some more & lesse therefore hee gaue them satisfac[i]on:
Yo[u]r petic[i]o[ne]rs humblie beseech yo[u]r [illegible] Wor[shi]ps that you will please to take Course that your petic[i]o[ne]rs may bee all payd ther q[uar]t[e]rs pensions soe in arreere, and that they may bee putt of noe longer. And they all will bee eu[er] bound to pay &c
