The petition of Richard Hudson, residence unknown, 21 December 1648

To ye right Hono[ura]ble ye Com[mi]ttee for ye Army

The humble petic[i]on of Richard Hudson Adm[inistrato]r to Isacke Bomaster dec[eased].

Sheweth

That the said Bomaster serued as troop[er] in M[ajor] Generall Skippons troope in Col[one]l Graves his Regim[en]t from the begin[n]ing of ye new Moddell till the 10th of Aprill 1646 & was slayne before Cardiffe as by Certificate vnder Capt[ain] Edward Lewes hand appeareth then Com[m]anding the troope

now forasmuch as there are some moneys due to yo[u]r pet[itione]r from ye said Bomaster he humbly prayeth yo[u]r Hono[u]rs to giue order for stateing the accompts & paym[en]t of the arreares of the said Bomaster to yo[u]r pet[itione]r.

And he shall pray &c.

<State & Pay>

Att ye Com[mi]ttee of Lords & Com[m]ons for the Army 21o Dec[ember] 1648.

Ordered

That ye Com[missa]ry Gen[eral] of ye Musters or his Deputy doe forthwith certify this Com[mi]ttee how Isack Bomaster (whoe was slayne in the seruice) stands vpon the Musters of ye Army & doe affix the same to ye petic[i]on.
