The humple petic[i]on of Raph Venables A pencioner.

Humblie sheweth to yo[u]r worshipps that wheareas yo[u]r petic[i]oner hath bin lamentably wounded att the seige held att Chester in the p[ar]liam[en]t seruice, And therevpon obteyned an order remeaninge on the file in this Court for paym[en]t of 40 s. p[er] ann[um] as a pencioner and for that hee is in Arreare for one yeres paym[en]t the some of 40 s. now last past, And for soe much as hee is Chosen and elected out of Colonell Duckenfeilds regim[en]t to bee a souldiour for the seruice of Ireland and is willinge thereof and knoweth not how soone hee may bee called away for that purpose: Maie it therefore please yo[u]r worshipps that you wil be pleased vpon sight hereof to order that yo[u]r petic[i]oner may haiue the said 40 s. w[i]thout anie further delay att this Sessions, And the rather in respect yo[u]r petic[i]oner knoewth not how soone hee is called Away for the service aforesaid: And yo[u]r petic[i]oner as hee is most bounden will daylie pray for yo[u]r worships longe and prosperous health and happines. And this for zeale of Justice &c
