The humble petic[i]on of Raph Gidesley and Roger Bradshawe on behalffe of themselues & other Maymed soldiers w[i]thin Aspull & Boulton

Sheweth

that yo[u]r petic[i]oners who vpon there Certificates of there loyalty to his late Ma[jes]tie haue had some smale penc[i]ons but in regard that they haue not there orders as other soldiers in other parts of [the] County haue from the quarter Sessions for there lives they yo[u]r petic[i]on[e]rs are forced to spend more every yeare in getting it then there penc[i]ons comes to

Wherefore they humble pray that yo[u]r worships would grant them some considerable penc[i]ons according to there deserts and that they may haue an order for the same dureing there lives to bee payed yearly by the treasurers for the tyme beeing and that assessm[en]ts may bee layd according to statutes in that behalfe made & ye petic[i]on[e]rs will ever pray &c.
